xChange: Can we rescue humanity? with Ian Goldin
Recent research published by the University of Bath found that 56% of young people think that humanity is doomed, so in our February xChange we asked Ian Goldin ‘Can we rescue humanity?’. Together we explored how we can learn the lessons from the pandemic to avoid sliding back into 'business as usual' without doing what we must to prevent further and even more serious crises to come.
Ian is a former Vice President of the World Bank, former advisor to President Nelson Mandela, founding director of the Oxford Martin School, Oxford University Professor of Globalisation and Development and author of Rescue: From Global Crisis to a Better World.
