xChange: How can we make freedom everyone’s business?

In our April 14th xChange we explored how we can finally bring an end to the travesty of modern-day slavery with Louise Hulland, BBC investigative journalist and author of Stolen Lives, Ruth Dearnley, CEO of Stop the Traffik, Rosana Elias, Head of Sustainability at Whitbread, and host Caroline Taylor, OBE.

In the discussion Ruth stated: ‘Slavery isn't just something that has never gone away - it's something that's growing. And every day we're still learning about it. It's complex but also profoundly simple. People shouldn't be bought and sold.’

We will continue to work with Ruth and her Stop the Traffik team in our April 30th Coffee with a Cause. Please get in touch if you’re interested in taking action on this important issue with us.

Many thanks to 23D and JiaJia Smith for their kind support with the video production and graphics.
