In our June 26th Coffee with a Cause we will work with Parisa Wright, founder and CEO of Greener and Cleaner, to help grow their charity and their pioneering Hub. The Hub is a community space based in The Glades shopping centre in Bromley where they inspire people to make sustainable changes through:

• Practical advice

• Classes and workshops

• Bromley Library of Things - borrow rather than buy equipment

• Joining community groups, apps and local schemes

• Volunteering

Greener and Cleaner also collaborate with other community hubs around the UK to learn from and support each other in replicating success.

Before creating Greener and Cleaner Parisa spent 20 years in media law. She has a passion for problem solving, raising awareness and bringing people together to make simple but impactful green changes at a local level.

Her mixed Persian heritage and lived experience has highlighted how her own family and many other Middle Eastern, African and Asian families are disproportionately affected by high carbon lifestyles and climate change. It fuels her focus to help make sure sustainable living is normalised for everyone and practical support becomes accessible, inclusive and appealing for all.

When she is not working for the charity or with her young family, Parisa offers external support as a speaker, trainer and facilitator.
