Green Christmas wishes

If you had one wish for the planet this Christmas, what would it be?

The Dear Green Santa volunteer team, made up of many MarketingKind members, is having a wonderful time encouraging everyone to share their wishes for the planet with Green Santa.

Dear Green Santa was created by Dr Laura Kehoe, an ecologist working as a researcher at the University of Oxford and The Nature Conservancy. And since its launch MarketingKind members have enabled Laura to reach thousands of children with this new Christmas tradition.

For the 2021 campaign Marc Convey and the brilliant team at 23D created the film above, Callum McGranaghan and Social for Good are helping to build our social reach, Faiz Kermani is running a Dear Green Santa event at Basel West Library (today), JiaJia Smith created brand assets including stickers for participating school children and Chartwells is running Dear Green Santa workshops in 30 schools. Lauren Cooper, Lisa Basford and I have been helping with the campaign strategy and social media execution.

And also I’m thrilled to announce that we have been able to enrol Sky News in helping to spread the Green Christmas cheer! Laura will be on ClimateCast on Friday December 17th and will be interviewed live at 5:30pm on Christmas day on the Sky News Channel.
