How can we create a culture of togetherness through storytelling?

​​Join us for January's Coffee with a Cause to help Teresa Norman, Founder of TogetherintheUK, in her quest to create a culture of belonging in the UK.

Teresa ​(with Johann, Fatkma and Kosta) created TogetherintheUK in 2015 to share stories from migrants living in the UK, so that others could learn to live more included lives from people who had made similar journeys. Five years on they share migrant stories through their blog, podcast and research reports.

TogetherintheUK has also just launched a creative writing competition for first and second generation migrants to share their stories through a poem, short story or essay.

Together we'll explore how to make​ their​ writing competition an annual event to remember and one that highlights the voices, insights and talent of migrants and their powerful stories.
